Case study
Executive Data Consolidation & Operations Dashboard
Can multiple Excel workbooks become one management view?
That is what this in-development project is building: multiple Excel workbooks and operational sources consolidated into one management platform with standardized inputs. The goal is executive reporting with less manual searching and comparison and clearer management visibility. This work is not complete, and no time savings or completed outcomes are claimed for it.
Status
In development. Nothing on this page describes a finished result. It is published to explain the approach, not to claim an outcome.
The problem
Management data lives across multiple Excel workbooks and operational sources. Answering a single question requires opening several files and comparing them by hand, which makes recurring management reporting slow and inconsistent.
What is being built
- Standardized inputs with fixed structures, naming, and owners
- Consolidation of multiple Excel workbooks and operational sources
- One management reporting platform rather than competing workbooks
Intended benefit
Less manual file comparison and searching, standardized recurring inputs, and one management view. These are goals for the project, not measured results.
Why input standardization comes first
A reporting layer built on inconsistent inputs breaks as soon as a source changes format. Fixing the structure, naming, cadence, and ownership of each recurring input is the part of the work that determines whether the consolidated view stays reliable.
