Workflow Diagnostic
The first engagement: one recurring process, mapped end to end, with a plain-English blueprint.
What is a workflow diagnostic?
A workflow diagnostic is a focused assessment of one recurring business process. I sit with the people doing the work, document every step, handoff, file, and decision point, and identify duplicated work, bottlenecks, and risk. You receive a plain-English workflow blueprint that states what should be simplified, standardized, automated, AI-assisted, or deliberately kept human — plus an implementation plan.
What happens, in order
- Understand — sit with the people doing the work and learn what actually happens
- Map — document every step, handoff, file, and decision point in plain language
- Analyze — identify duplicated work, bottlenecks, single points of failure, and risk
- Recommend — what to simplify, standardize, automate, AI-assist, or keep human
- Plan — a sequenced implementation plan with the review gates already defined
What you receive
- A written workflow blueprint of the current and proposed process
- A prioritized list of what to change first and why
- Explicit human-review checkpoints for the redesigned process
- An implementation plan you can execute with me or on your own
The blueprint is yours either way. There is no obligation to continue into a build.
How to pick the first process
Choose the one that happens most often, takes the most hours, and frustrates the most people — usually monthly reporting, reconciliation preparation, document handling, or a recurring management package. Narrow beats broad. One process improved end to end is worth more than five reviewed superficially.
Pricing
Pricing is scoped per engagement based on process complexity and is discussed directly. No public pricing is published.
Engagements run on-site across Corona, the Inland Empire, Orange County, and greater Southern California, and remotely elsewhere. Work is delivered in English or Spanish.
